New Roof Solar Removal & Reinstallation Five Step Process:
Contact us to discuss your roof project and timeline and your solar system. Please provide as many details as possible such as the panel and inverter type and the number of panels you have.
Connect us with your preferred roofer so we can discuss project and insurance details and the timeline for the install so we can coordinate to get your system installed as quickly as possible.
We will create an estimate and send it over to the roofer so they are able to submit it as part of your homeowner’s insurance claim. The solar and roof are one claim since the solar is a permanent fixture on your roof and will be part of the same deductible.
Once approved we will coordinate with both you and the roofer’s schedules to remove the panels so your roof can be replaced and then we will return as soon as possible to reinstall your system. We only reinstall your solar panels using the approved tools and materials to maintain the manufacturer’s warranty on the system.
Post installation we will test the system to be sure it’s operating properly, document the materials and get drone footage of the installation and documentation for your 25 year workmanship warranty through us. The crew will then walk the property to make sure everything is clean and in order.
